My second toe is longer than than my first (big toe)-am I a freak or is that normal?

in many cultures, it is considered beautiful for the second toe to be longer than the first toe. it is a sign of good breeding. (that's what me mum told me anyway) my second toe happens to have a millimeter on my big toe. besides who wants stumpy toes, long ones are sexy.

You would be surprised by the historical tidbits that you can find regarding people's toe's. The famed Greek philosopher Plato had a longer second toe, and legend has it that Socrates and Plato's first meeting was due to Socrates's admiration of the oversized digit. It hasn't always been a good thing though, as during the French revolution, having a longer second toe was considered a sure sign of being aristocracy, and guarenteed a express trip to the guillotine. Similarly, during the infamous Salem witch trials, inspecting the proportions of toe length was one of the key tests to see if you were a follower of the Wiccan arts. Lukcily, we now live in a more civilized time, where the size of one's second toe can be considered beautiful and also useful. Hall of Fame NFL quarterback Joe Montana has often credited the size of his large second toe to give him the balance, agility, and acceleration needed to win four superbowls. Celebreties today with oversized second toes include TV actor John Ritter, baseball great Derek Jeter, US senator John F. Kerry (Mass), and three members of the pop group N'Sync. All this stuff is completely true, you can look it up!

It is normal to have a longer second toe, but you are a freak for worrying about it. So, yes on both counts.

The amount of bone resected from the 1st metatarsal head depends on the amount of shortening of the 2nd metatarsal region (the end of the 1st metatarsal should be slightly longer than 2nd metatarsal).

They are the masters of shoe, the shadow feet; spies, saboteurs, and assassins who can appear and disappear with a mere thought. Most regard toes as figures of myth, created to frighten the simple-minded and remind fingers why they should hold tightly to honor and glovedom. Many would be surprised to discover how real toes truly are.

Gnaw it off.

A longer middle toe is perfectly normal. It's all part of human physiology. Just look at patterns found elsewhere on the body. For example -- fingers. Your middle finger is no doubt longer than any of your other fingers AND your thumb. So if anyone ever calls you a freak for having a long middle toe, just flip them the toe. Flipping the toe humiliates a person so much more than simply giving them the finger. I mean, really. How would YOU like it if someone stuck THEIR rank, deformed, snake-like, has-it's-own-unit-of-measure-named-after-it middle toe in YOUR face??? Can you imagine the utter atrocity? One is likely to be scarred for life after such an experience!!!! You make me sick.

ew that's pretty gross, you are most definitely a freak. don't share this information with anyone and no one will be the wiser. problem solved.....

Yes, No, Maybe So, ask again, don't be slow.

Look, a lot of people are going to tell you that having toes is normal and that you should be proud of them. But I say No! They are an abomination of Nature, and if God wanted you to have toes, He would have given them to you at birth, like he does with legs, elbows, and teeth. You people disgust me with your toes, your breast implants, and your brain embeded math-coprocessors. Toes? Get rid of 'em, I say! --ChairmanTubeAmp
