ok well my "best friend" and i both like the same guy which is all fine and dandy but its not either. well i told one of my other friends that i liked him. we'll call him Bob. and then my "best friend" found out that i told somebody that wasnt her so she got mad at me for not telling her. when i finally DID tell her shes was like" o well i like him too" n that pissed me off because she had never said ANYTHING about likeing him to ANYONE before i said i liked him. then she made me "promise" that we would tell Bob together that we liked him. i told her i would even though im not really going to. i would much rather tell him by myself. anyway, i keep haveing dreams about the first day of school and my friend isnt there. so i tell Bob and he tells me that he likes me to. later on in the day he asks me out and i say yes because i like him and he likes me back. i go home from school that day and my friend calls me crying. she was sad tht i told Bob without her(she found out from another friend). at school the next day she refuses to talk to me and this goes on for a while. later in my dream we were getting off school for christmas vaca and Bob and i are still going out but my friend still wont talk to me. but now my question is: should i or shouldnt i tell Bob about my feelings? i would really appericate it if someone would be able to help me with my problem

You know, this reminds of an interesting story that happened to me. There was this guy I "knew", let's call him "Fred". Fred's cousin knew this other girl I also knew. She had a friend that was a mutual friend that he "liked", but I also knew but only kinda "liked" Well, his best's friends brother was actually going out with her sister at the time (not the girl I kinda liked, but the cousin). Well, she had talked to her best friend who was the girl's mother's hairdresser, and he said that there was no way that I could really like that girl. Personally I think he liked me and was just trying to ruin things for us. (like I would ever date a hairdresser!) So anyway, Fred calls me about a month later, and it turns out he doesn't even really like this girl, he was pretending the whole time to get closer to this girl's next door neighbor who also happened to be my best friend from summer camp. Well he is crying on the phone because his cousin's best friend, the one I mentioned above, already snatched her away before he could enact his full plan. And he blamed me for holding the process up by vying for this other girl's attention! Even when he had no intention of actually having a relationship with her! So anyway, we talked it out after he calmed down, he decided that I could date this girl (not the one I orignially liked, but the one he actually wanted). This way, at least he could be around her when we all hung out together. We have all been living together for a year and a half now, so it seems like everything turned out OK.

Bob isn't worth all this special attention, and if you both approach him like that, he is going to get a huge ego (and hopefully for him, a couple of blowjobs). What are you expecting out of this Bob character? Have either of you broads established a friendship or any kind of relationship whatsoever with this guy already? If not, then there is no way to know that you like him. He could be a real piece of shit, and I'll bet he is. Do you like your friend? I mean, really like her? A friend is more valuable than that scumbag Bob, trust me. Your question has already been answered in your dream. Bob is your father, " your best friend" is really your mother, you are jealous of your father's attention and have a classic electra complex. The christmas reference informs us that your are having feelings of guilt related to you religion. Wow. I am so good at this! Who would have thought my associates degree in retail management would have prepared me to give such hard hitting and totally 'right on the money' advice!
