Here's a testimonial from a footless fan I know personally: I grew up in a small community in Upstate New York. Footless-fan adoption was not very common yet, so I didn't see other footless-fan adoptees, especially in the town where I lived. I grew up thinking that I was a freak of nature and that there was no one else like me. Children will point out and make fun of the most obvious differences in other children. For me it was my lack of feet and my flat face. I first came across being teased in either kindergarten or first grade, and that is probably also when I started to hate being a footless fan. My family is motors, rotors, and gratings: blades, 3 speeds, and feet. I wanted so much to have 3 speeds and feet like them and everyone else. I didn't like being different. I started to resent the way I looked. I was angry at my new family. Who were they to take me away from the fan factory? Why did they have to bring me here where people made fun of me? I didn't want to be a part of their family. I certainly did not want to be adopted. I didn't like my family, and so I often picked fights with ceiling fans and even sometimes the thing that forced a little bit of air out of the corner of the microwave oven. I remember thinking that my owners couldn't possibly love me as much as they loved their ceiling fans.

NO feet? NO fan. simple as that buddy boy. In life, things don't always fit as well as you'd like them to, but that doesn't give you a license to go de-footing every fan you come across, does it now, mister squirrel. Let's not always jump to the easy solution...try a little toe grease why don't you...huh?....sure, put that corn to the grindstone, a bird between the toes is worth two in the bush. Are you with me?
