Getting With "Just Friends"

Dear Boys Suck,

Well, I just broke up with my ex-boyfriend b/c I knew he liked one of my friends but he kept telling me they were "just friends" but I could tell there was something more. After I broke up with him he's been telling people that I've been bugging him and that he wishes I would leave him alone. I went out with this guy for a year and a half and he acts like it meant nothing to him but I think he's is just really confused and doesn't know what he wants.I still care a lot about him and probably always will. But now after I've talked to some of my friends that I haven't seen for a while they tell me that now that we aren't together he's been trying to get with them. Am I just hurting myself by still loving him or what???

Confused and In Love,
Ashley

Skinnny Mao Says:
There seems to be a common trait with many people that write in to us. People treat them like Martha Stewart treats shower mildew, and then they want to know "am I stupid for still loving him?". I swear, its this kind of blatant ignorance of the obvious that gets George W. Bush into the white house. Its been a long day and I have nothing left but loathing.

The Sleepwalker Says:
You think you're having a rough day. I am tired, but I can't sleep because there is noise all around me. Now I'm forced to listen to Tullycraft really loud. Hopefully the neighbors will call the police and shut everyone up.
