Annoying Kiss

Dear Boys Suck,

Ok there is this guy that i like and he lives in arizona where i used to live and before i left he kissed me. not a big kiss but ya! Well my friend told me that he said that he never liked me, that i was annoying, and the only reason he kissed me was because i was leaving. but when i talk to him on the phone he acts so sweet like asking me to be his valentine and telling me we are friends with benefits. then he asked me to come down there so i could so to one of the school dances. so i dont know what to do?? Help me please.

With Annoying Parting Smootches,
Megan

Skinnny Mao Says:
Well, it is a scientific fact that young boys and girls always enact the opposite action corresponding to the emotion that they feel. The common example of this is young boys picking on the girls they like. (For more information, consult the New England Journal of Science and Dating; March 98). The unfortuante conclusion this leads to is that if said boy in question is being sweet and kind to you, you probably make him sick to his stomach. My best advice would be to take drastic measures to show that you do care about him. Insult him, berate him, humiliate him in public. Perhaps kidnap a pet and hold it for ransom. Just give him something to let him know you care.

The Sleepwalker Says:
I hate to break it to you Megan, but "friends with benefits" is not only an overused cliche(see Alanis Morrisette c. 1996), but it actually means "I don't like you, but I like the action I get from you." If you live far away, he figures he can get some more smootches and not have to deal with the girlfriend duties...plus, asking people to be your valentine is cheesy. I know you will be sad for a few days, but this is easily remedied by listening to more Boys Suck.

Hey Z, "Will you be my valentine?"
